When and how did you start playing and/or collecting Magic: The Gathering cards?

The collection ranged from Arabian Nights up to the Dragons of Tarkir block… my most loved cards: Blightning, Tarmogoyf and Cruel Ultimatum.

I only play online now and it was time to say goodbye to paper Magic.

How satisfied were you with the overall process surrounding the sale of your collection?

Everything was perfect. The guys even made the trip from Vienna; I found them friendly, kind, and helpful.

Why did you sell your collection? Were there any particular reasons?

Simply because I no longer play competitive paper Magic and only play on MTGA, as I no longer recognize the Magic of the old days: too many UB decks, too much Commander. Magic was Magic back in the block era, with well-defined lore and artwork.

When and how did you start playing and/or collecting Magic: The Gathering cards?

I started playing and collecting Magic the Gathering around the time of the Ixalan and Rivals of Ixalan sets. I immediately fell in love with the Commander format, as it felt the closest to the rich and engaging experience of a board game.

Tell us a bit more about your collection. How did it look like? How big was it? What were your highlights?

In Commander, I loved the creativity of building multiple decks, and I preferred having fully assembled decks, so I wouldn’t have to swap cards between them. Also, one of the reasons I got into Magic was the beauty of the card art. I was always drawn to collecting my favorite art variants. Naturally my collection included cards that I found visually stunning. I like the foil Judge promo of Survival of the Fittest, as well as truly iconic cards such as Chains of Mephistopheles. And since I played cEDH, I made sure to collect all the essential staples, and for lands, I always looked for the most beautiful variants.

How did you find Three for One Trading as a potential buyer of your collection?

I was already familiar with Three for One Trading as some of the most reliable power sellers on Cardmarket. When I found out they were buying full collections, I reached out to them, and they quickly proved to be the best buyer I could have hoped for. They take care of everything, even providing pre-printed FedEx labels, making the whole process amazingly easy.

What convinced you to sell your collection to Three for One Trading?

I sold my collection gradually over the years, rather than all at once. When I began selling the first part, I checked the market and, being in Italy, I found it challenging since many local buyers seemed less trustworthy. So, piece by piece, I eventually sold my entire collection to them.

I’d rate my satisfaction a solid 10 out of 10. As I mentioned, Three for One Trading is incredibly reliable and trustworthy, and their prices are excellent. They handle the entire process seamlessly, which makes everything so easy. I would absolutely recommend them to any friend looking to sell their cards.

Why did you sell your collection? Were there any particular reasons?

Unfortunately, I found myself unable to continue playing Magic. Since I mainly played Commander, which requires a lot of time and a group of friends to play in person, it became challenging to keep up. I prefer playing with physical cards and in-person interactions, and I simply didn’t have the time anymore. Hence, I decided it was best to sell my entire collection.

It was quite a sizable collection. I had more than 50 Commander decks. I really liked to pimp out my decks with full arts and powerful cards.
