Commander – Magic Presents: Heart of the Mountain

Magic Presents: Heart of the Mountain is a casual Commander event in which players battle for control of the legendary Arkenstone. The first person to deal combat damage gains possession of it, and others can steal it by dealing combat damage to the current owner.

During each upkeep phase, the player who controls the Arkenstone increases their possession count by 1. The first player to reach a possession count of 3 wins the game.

• Details:
  • The first person to deal combat damage to another player becomes the first owner of the Arkenstone. Players can acquire the Arkenstone emblem by dealing combat damage to the current owner. As long as they possess the emblem, they receive bonuses, but they also become the main target at the table! On any turn in which a player controls the Arkenstone, they increase their ownership value by one during their supply phase (this value is not lost if someone takes the Arkenstone away from them). When a player’s ownership value reaches three, they win the game.
  • This is an official event, so proxy cards are not permitted.
