Let us start with the best: New employees at 341! The team hasn’t changed by a lot, we rather went with quality over quantity as far as team adjustments go in 2025! This year we welcomed three new colleagues, so let’s see the new faces!

Our awesome cooperation with the wickedly talented, one and only Mario Pampel Productions continues for another year, and we couldn’t be happier (although we sometimes forget to tag him in the pictures, sorry!) With his know-how about photography and his years of experience, he captures the coolest moments of our events and tournaments!

We (Lukas and Philippe) have been producing reels since 29th March 2023. The main focus of these was to draw some attention to our weekly New Arrivals Drop! In 2025, we tried to do something different and detach the reels from the New Arrivals. This allowed for more diverse content and, maybe, a little bit more reach because the reels were not as long and more interesting for a broader audience.

Anyhow, we achieved medium success, our most popular YouTube short EVER. It reached over half a million views, which is quite a lot by our standards.

We not only produced a bunch of reels for social media, but we also dipped our toes into streaming! Some of our colleagues (myself included) got cought in the Scourgedown fever, and apparently one of the first symptoms of Scourgedown fever is wanting to share Scourgedown with others.

But let’s start at the beginning: What even is Scourgedown?

Scourgedown is a Commander format that only allows cards up until Scourge, with (preferably) no reprints! The hype has been drawing in more and more people here at Three for One Trading, so it’s only natural we wanted to share it with you! We also wrote a little blog article about one of our games, if you are interested in all the details.

To share the word of Scourgedown and maybe get more people to play, we started live-streaming some of our games. With zero know-how about streaming, we just jumped in headfirst and, well, the results are still on Youtube if you want to know how that went! This would all not have been possible with all the Scourgedown enthusiasts at Three for One Trading: Philipp, Ivo, Leo and Peter!

The next Scourgedown stream will be on January, 9th including Ivo, Leo, Philippe and Premodern legend Valerio as our guest star! This means we will do our “bestest” to stream in English. Stay tuned for more info on social media!

2025 was also a great year because we got the chance to collaborate with a lot of fantastic people! The biggest team ups have been with Timmy, the Sorcerer, Eternal Durdles and Crucibles of Words. We couldn’t be happier that they all decided to work with us on various projects, be it smaller ones like mentioning our Black Friday Sale in their content or bigger ones, like helping us stream during the Viennageddon.

Ben Guilfoyle continued to write articles for us throughout 2025 and dare we say it: This man knows how to pump out articles! Ben managed to write about two articles per month for us, which was just perfect for us.  Ben was not the only one that wrote articles for us this year, there were others too: Zen Miyaji-Thorne and Nico Bohny! Zen and Nico wrote articles for us in the years before, but got busy with life during 2025.

Thanks to everyone who decided to work with us! We hope we can continue this in 2026!

Another year, another 341 travel recap! This year, we visited about 7 different Magic: The Gathering related events. As you might know, these events are a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. If you are interested in trading with us in 2026, then we have good news for you. Most of our 2026 events are already planned, you can find them here. The first one will be in Lyon, France, already in January!

We were again part of the VIENNAGEDDON. This time it was not only Vienna’s biggest Old School event, but also Vienna’s biggest Premodern event! From May 16 to May 18, 2025. Around 110 to 120 individual player attended the Viennageddon this year, making it one of our most cherished highlights of the year.

Here are a few short impressions of what this all looked like.

The Viennageddon will of course also be held in 2026. It will again be a big weekend full of Premodern, Old School and everything in between. Maybe even another Fallen Empires Draft, who knows?!

THE VIENNAGEDDON 2026 WILL BE FROM 29 TO 31 MAY 2026!

If you can’t wait and crave some old-bordered action, be sure to attend one (or more) of our monthly Premodern tournaments. The first Tuesday of each month is meant for Premodern!

This year, we also got big Flesh and Blood news: We hosted part of the Flesh and Blood World Tour featuring the Battle Hardened Vienna, Super Armory and Pro Quest+.

The biggest deal was of course the Battle Hardened Vienna tournament, which a total of 94 players attended, making this our biggest tournament, yet! The SAGE Pro Quest+ was visited by 46 players and the Super Armory by 36 players. That means a total of 176 tickets sold in one, big Flesh and Blood weekend!

And congratulations to our Head of Marketing, Thomas Preyer for winning the SAGE Pro Quest+

The ThreeForWohnzimmer (hosted by Franz) has become a regular event at our store. It is a Saturday event, hosted and managed by Franz, where we draft all day! All structured around the idea of a living room: Come by, enjoy the company, leave when you must, come by again later, etc.

The next ThreeForWohnzimmer is already in the pipeline. We can’t tell you too much about it right now, but a little Franz of Paradise tweeted us top secret information about the upcoming ThreeForWohnzimmer 6! According to that very trustworthy source, the working title can be summarized in two Magic cards: Fight to the Death and Arena of Glory.

Now in 2025 we decided to launch a new project, featuring testimonials of people that had big high-end trades with us. Because 500 5-star Google Reviews is something, but seeing the happy faces behind good deals is another thing. Especially if you are thinking about getting rid of your collection that’s worth multiple thousands of euros.

Our buyers make individually planned visits to each customer that is playing with the idea of selling their Magic: The Gathering collection worth €20,000 or more. This year, we visited Stefano, Thomas and Alexander in their homes and spent some time with them and their collections. After agreeing on a price everybody was comfortable with, we asked them if they would like to be part of our testimonial program. A big “Thank you!” goes out to every one who was willing to participate!

This year, we started off strong with a team excursion to the Ottakringer brewery, right here in the 16th district of Vienna. That’s the district our store is located, so we didn’t have to walk far for this trip!

We got a great tour through the historically rich brewery of Ottakringer (did you know that they got their own in-house water well?!). After that, we went straight to beer tasting!

Filled with bubbles and happiness, we went back to the store for MtG drafts, boardgames and pizza party (and maybe a bit more beer

On top of that Oli, Wenzel and David made sure we also had our regular In-house Prereleases and “open fridge” for every employee! Not only that, but we all also got extra days off during Christmastime, thanks bosses!

Just like every year, we also got time for other boardgames beside Magic: The Gathering. Among others, the wonderful Franscic took some time to organize one of the boardgame afternoons. We all agreed that it won’t be the last. It was the last of the year, though! Hopefully we can find more time in 2026!

After one of our jour fixes, we also had time to play a few video games via Steam Deck. Unfortunately, we had some technical difficulties with the controllers. Nonetheless, a lot of Tetris Effect: Connect and some Inversus got played!

Another year, another Christmas office party!

Like every year, we all gathered around 5 PM at the store for welcome drinks, snacks and a review of the year. Small heads-up: The business is thriving, we are all keeping our jobs, everyone is happy. Then it was time for a gift exchange, which was rather one-sided because we all got something from our bosses, but somehow we forgot to get something for them… again! After we all unwrapped our Rolex‘s, it was time for a group picture. They turned out awesome, we are getting better at this every year!

Then it was time to head on to our Christmas Dinner location. This year, we headed to Vinzirast Mittendrin because we made such a fantastic experience with them back in May with the Viennageddon. We had a wonderful buffet with the best Baba Ganoush you could dream of as an entrée. After that, we had super tasty Gnocchi as well as different meats. There was so much of everything, that we even got food to take home with us!

The buffet style dinner allowed us to play a tournament of Jumpstart as well as some games of Old School, Scourgedown and One Piece while eating! The perfect scenario for every nerd!
